Author
In accordance with the editorial policy of the Scientific Journal Art Education and Science, the Editorial and Publishing Office of the Russian State Specialized Academy of Arts (hereinafter referred to as EPO RSSAA) provides the Author with the service of publishing the article (including reviewing and scientific editing) in the Scientific Journal Art Education and Science. By submitting the article to the EPO RSSAA for publication in the Scientific Journal Art Education and Science, the Author accepts the following terms and conditions of publication:
- Rights and obligations
1.1. The Author is entitled to:
1.1.1. Receive information on the progress of preparation of the article for publication.
1.2. The Author is obliged to:
1.2.1. Submit materials in accordance with the requirements set forth herein.
1.2.2. If the Editorial Board has made a positive decision to publish the article, pay the amount specified in the applicable pricing order or buy a six-month subscription to the Scientific Journal Art Education and Science (payment details and subscription index are given below) and submit proof of payment for the services or for the subscription to the e-mail address of EPO RSSAA: .
1.2.3. In their own discretion, track the information on the progress of preparation of the article for publication via email correspondence with the EPO RSSAA.
1.3. The EPO RSSAA is entitled to:
1.3.1. Review the article.
1.3.2. Refuse to publish the article or make a decision to publish it after it has been revised in accordance with the received reviews.
1.3.3. Perform scientific editing of the article without changing its fundamental assertions.
1.3.4. Publish the articles that have been released in the printed journal on the official website of the journal.
1.4. The EPO RSSAA is obliged to:
1.4.1. Inform the Author of the positive decision to publish the article indicating the issue number of the journal or of the rejection to publish the article including the explanation of the reason thereto via e-mail communication sent to the Author’s e-mail address.
- Specific conditions
2.1. These Terms and Conditions of Publication shall be considered a public offer. The Author accepts it by sending the article for publication to the EPO RSSAA.
2.2. The Author gives their assurance to the EPO RSSAA that the article is submitted for publication for the first time and has not been sent to any other publisher before and (or) at the same time, and that publishing the article in the Scientific Journal Art Education and Science is not in breach of anyone's copyright or property rights transferred by the Author of the article under a copyright agreement with respect to the published article; the article contains all the required references to the quoted authors and (or) publications, as well as results and (or) facts used in the article that were obtained by other authors and (or) organizations, in accordance with the applicable regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation.
2.3. The author shall be deemed informed that the EPO RSSAA does not protect their rights under intellectual property laws in relation to the published article. Protection of intellectual property rights related to the published article shall be carried out by the Author’s independently.
2.4. The EPO RSSAA shall not be responsible for the contents of the published articles.
2.5. If the author fails to fulfill their obligations on payment for the services or buying annual subscription to the journal, the article submitted for publication shall not be returned to Author or used by the EPO RSSAA.
2.6. No fee is payable to the Author of the article.
- Other conditions
3.1. Liability for non-performance or improper performance of the terms and conditions set forth herein shall be determined in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
3.2. All disputes arising in the course of execution of the Terms and Conditions stated herein shall be considered by the EPO RSSAA and the Author on a prima facie basis in order to develop a mutually acceptable solution. The fact of a dispute between the EPO RSSAA and the Author shall be denoted by a written claim. The period for considering the claim and responding to it shall be 30 (thirty) calendar days. The consideration period shall begin on the day following the day when the claim is actually received by either party. The fact that the EPO RSSAA has received the claim shall be confirmed in writing. If, as a result of compliance with the above stated claim consideration procedure, mutual understanding is not achieved and the dispute is not settled, then the disputes and disagreements shall be subject to consideration in court at the place of residence of the EPO RSSAA in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
3.3. In all other matters not provided for herein, the parties shall be guided by the current legislation of the Russian Federation.
